Bacterial diseases include any type of illness or disease caused by
bacteria, a type of microbe. Microbes are tiny organisms that cannot be
seen without a microscope. Pathogenic bacteria can enter the body through a variety of means,
including inhalation into the nose and lungs, ingestion in food or
through sexual contact. Once bacteria enter the body, a healthy immune
system will recognize the bacteria as foreign invaders and try to kill
or stop the bacteria from reproducing. However, even in a healthy person
with a healthy immune system, the body is not always able to stop the
bacteria from multiplying and spreading. As the harmful bacteria
reproduce, many emit toxins which damage the cells of the body,
resulting in symptoms of a bacterial disease.

Mycobacterium tuberculosis
Tuberculosis
(TB) is an infectious bacterial disease caused by mycobacterium tuberculosis,
which most commonly affects the lungs. It is transmitted from person to person
via droplets from the throat and lungs of people with the active respiratory
disease.
Our products for detection of TB include:
Mycobacterium tuberculosis real time PCR Kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in the real-time PCR system in samples like nasal and pharyngeal secretions, sputum, blood and urine.
TB IgG/IgM Combo - rapid test for the qualitative differentiation of IgG and IgM antibodies to M. tuberculosis in human serum or plasma.

Helicobacter pylori
Helicobacter pylori is a spiral shaped bacterium that lives in the stomach
and duodenum (section of intestine just below stomach). It has a unique
way of adapting in the harsh environment of the stomach. It causes chronic inflammation of
the inner lining of the
stomach (gastritis) in humans. This bacterium also is the most
common cause of ulcers worldwide and is strongly linked to the development of duodenal and stomach cancers.
H. pylori stool antigen (HpSA) - rapid one step immunoassay for the detection of H. pylori antigens in stool specimen.
H. pylori Ab - rapid ICT test used as an aid in the diagnosis of H. pylori infection in patients with gastrointestinal symptoms using serum.

Salmonella typhi
Typhoid fever is a bacterial disease, caused by Salmonella typhi and is transmitted through the ingestion of food or drink contaminated by the faeces or urine of infected people. Symptoms usually develop 1–3 weeks after exposure, and may be mild
or severe. They include high fever, malaise, headache, constipation or
diarrhoea, rose-coloured spots on the chest, and enlarged spleen and
liver. Healthy carrier state may follow acute illness.
Our products include two rapid tests for the simultaneous detection of IgG/IgM antibodies or IgM antibody alone.
Typhoid IgM - solid phase immunoassay for the qualitative determination of anti-Salmonella typhi (S. typhi) IgM in human serum or plasma.
Typhoid IgG/IgM Combo - a solid phase chromatographic immunoassay for the simultaneous and differentiation detection of anti-Salmonella typhi (S. typhi) IgG and IgM in human serum or plasma.

Treponema pallidum (Syphilis)
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum. It is passed from person to person through direct contact with a
syphilis sore which occurs mainly on the external genitals, vagina,
anus, or in the rectum. Sores also can occur on the lips and in the
mouth. Transmission of the organism occurs during vaginal, anal, or oral
sex.
Syphilis Ab- a solid phase immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of antibodies of all isotypes (IgG, IgM, and IgA) against Treponema pallidum (TP) in human serum or plasma.
